W.S. Original was started in Los Angeles in1993. At the time, it was called "Westside". It started as a simple t-shirt, in a simple design, to represent where we were from. At the time, nobody had anything close to what we where looking for. It took us 4 years to get the designs and the shirts together. In 1998 we set up shop… and smashed! The first designs created were West Side, South Side, Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Parental Advisory Design. After hitting the shows and events we received requests for other cities, towns, areas, East Side and North Side. We have been putting people’s sides on the map ever since. Check out the site for recognition.     Bow Down - to bend down one's head or bend one's body in respect, agreement, worship, recognition, etc.; "He bowed before the King"; "She bowed her head to show respect" The first batch of shirts we created had the designs on the front. People where asking for something on the back of the shirts. Some requested a 13 or an OG. We wanted to keep the Line neutral. We want anyone to be able to wear it. So with the help of old High School days and West Coast music, we decided to use the term BOW DOWN. It means that when you come to my town you will “Bow Down."
West LA West Los Angeles is a very different place than the East Side or South Side of LA. The Lingo is different and the styles are different. Growing up in the late 80’s early 90’s was a ruff time for anyone in LA. Those who came out of this era can tell you. This is why Los Angeles is one of the most sought out places to live in. Trends come from LA; from the music, the people, and the clothing. What some will see or confuse as gang related, others see it as a Lifestyle. This Lifestyle is now being adapted by the world. This is where the concepts for West Side Original came from. It doesn't matter what your race is, there is something for everybody. We have sold to Doctors, Lawyers, Police Officers, School Officials, Teachers, Students, Actors, Rappers, Artist, and the masses. We are the WEST COAST.	Quality Our Shirts are made in the USA. We pride ourselves of being a One Stop Shop. We do our own Screen Printing and we do our own quality control. We do a thick solid print. Our designs do not crack after the first wash. As long as the customer follows the care instructions then they will have a long lasting Shirt. When you rub your finger over the print and feel the material, you know the difference between us and them.
